なんかだんだん、日が短くなってきた。
さてさて、英語のことわざを整理するにあたりいろいろやっている。
なかなか入手困難な新々英文解釈研究の昭和１６年版を手に入れ、これを写真に撮り、当ブログに載せる作業をしているが、なかなか大変だ。
写真に撮ると言っても、撮っていると、上手く撮れた時と、そうでもない時がある。カメラの設定の仕方でもだいぶ変わるし、日光の加減でも大分変わる。
そのようなところで、良い写真を撮りたい、と求めだすと、キリのない話しになる。
実際、何度も同じ所を撮っている。
写真を撮り始めて１週間くらいになるが、やっと分かった。
やはり明るさだ。太陽がちゃんと照っていないとダメである。ちなみに電球は、影が出来てしまうからダメである。電球でするには本格的なセットを組む必要があるだろう。
あと、無反射ガラスを使っているが、１ページずつ撮らなくていけない。
ガラスと本の間に隙間があると画像がぼけてしまう。
そのようにして、写真を撮って、次に問題になるのは、どのようにブログに載せるかである。
全部を載せても良いが、それだけですごい手間になる。
これもやってみたが、大変な手間である。
５５−７１まで、該当部分を解説と英文解釈の問題とその解答をすべて載せるように勤めたが、あまりに作業が大変である。
昭和１６年版の本の風合いを楽しんで頂きたいとも思ったが、やはりこれは原物を持たないとなかなかうまくいかない。ブログで延々とだしても、読んでいるほうにしてもあまり面白いものではないだろうと思った。
また、私も本来、ことわざを分類することを目指していて、新々英文解釈研究を用いるのはその第一歩であるのだ。それなのに、これだけ労力を費やしてしまうのは、単なる脱線というものであろう。自分では楽しいのであるが。
故に、いろいろ考えてみて文法の解説の載っているページのみを出すと良いと結論した。１１からはそのようにしていこうと思う。
オマケ・・・
南蛮のしょうゆ漬けを作るため、南蛮の買い出しに長沼までドライブした。今年は南蛮が不作である。札幌ではなかなか手に入らない。故に、札幌近郊の長沼まで足を伸ばしたのである。
そのとき、粋なレストランに入ったので、その写真など。
ここでも、新々英文解釈研究を読んでノート整理を行ったということは言うまでもない。

24. one........the other と the one........the other の違い We have two dogs ; one is white, and the other black.
25. this that の使い方 this は文章の中で近いもの、thatは遠いもの を指す Health is above wealth, for this cannot give so much happiness as that.
28. 前文の叙述部分全部を反復する代わりに用いられる that The ship was built in less than a year, and that in the midst of the war.

31. what you call と so-called の違い
